The Industrial Development Authority and The Cuba Enterprise Zone

The Missouri Legislature established the Cuba Enterprise Zone in 1985, which now includes two-thirds of Crawford County. This is important because employers earn tax benefits for hiring employees who live in the zone.

The IDA consists of a five-member board of directors and a chief executive officer who have combined to successfully fill our Industrial Park and are now promoting a new park. The Economic Development Coordinator is Norman J. De Leo, DDS.

An enterprise zone provides opportunity. Any qualified industry that locates within the zone can receive a comprehensive series of tax credits and tax abatements from the state of Missouri, the city of Cuba and Crawford County.
