Cuba operates with a mayor-council government that is dedicated to meeting the needs of a second industrial park. The city has an emergency preparedness director and a chief with eight police officers.

Fire protection is provided by the Cuba Volunteer Fire Department with a salaried fire chief.

Electric Power
The city of Cuba owns and operates the municipal power system, guaranteeing ample supplies and competitive rates.

Water
The Cuba Water Plant has a capacity of 1.4 million gallons per day with a storage capacity of 675,000 gallons. Present consumption averages 400,000 gallons per day.

Natural Gas
The city owns and operates the natural gas system. Other needs are currently met by fuel oil distributors and LP gas distributors.

Garbage
The city of Cuba contracts for solid waste disposal.

Sewage
Cuba utilizes an oxidation ditch sewage plant with a capacity of 920,000 gallons per day. Present load is 650,000 gallons.
